Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the WodStrat application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

WodStrat is a functional fitness workout strategy platform that uses AI to generate personalised workout insights. The App provides tools for tracking benchmarks, logging workout results, tracking skill progressions, earning achievement badges, generating AI-powered coaching and training plans, and viewing community percentile rankings.

2. Account

• You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the App
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You may delete your account at any time from the App's Settings screen

3. Subscriptions

• The App offers free and paid subscription tiers (Free and Premium)
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings (Apple Settings or Google Play)
• Cancellation stops future charges but your paid features remain until the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies
• Some features (AI coaching hub, workout result logging, AI skill plans, workout image uploads) are available only to Premium subscribers

4. AI-Generated Content

• Workout strategies, coaching insights, skill development plans, post-workout performance reports, and daily training programmes are generated by AI (Google Gemini) and are provided for informational purposes only
• AI-generated recommendations are not a substitute for professional fitness, medical, or health advice
• You should consult a qualified professional before starting any new exercise programme or following an AI-generated skill development plan
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
• AI features are subject to daily usage limits based on your subscription tier

5. Workout Images

• You may upload photos of workouts for AI-powered text extraction (OCR)
• Uploaded images are processed in-memory and are not permanently stored on our servers
• You must only upload images you have the right to use

6. Community Features and Percentile Rankings

• Your benchmark results may be used in aggregate to calculate community percentile rankings
• Rankings are anonymised — other users cannot see your individual data, only their own position within the community
• Rankings may be segmented by gender when sufficient data is available

7. User Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information in your athlete profile
• You are responsible for your own safety when following any workout strategy, skill plan, or training programme
• You must not misuse the App, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the service

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by WodStrat. Your workout data, benchmark results, and skill progress remain yours. By entering workout descriptions, uploading images, or providing assessment data, you grant us permission to process them through our AI service to provide you with personalised insights and training plans.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on AI-generated content, including workout strategies, skill plans, and coaching recommendations
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
